Jayalalitha faces flak for ‘insensitive’ Baahubali poster

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalitha, faced severe criticism on social media for morphing her image to the poster of the blockbuster Baahubali, while taking credit for the relief work carried out during Chennai floods by her party, AIDMK.

While people were busy devising ways to help Chennai flood victims in various ways, Jayalalitha's party men came up with something unexpected. Posters in the city went up showing a morphed image of the CM in the poster of Baahubali. She is seen holding an infant in floods, one of the most famous scenes in the movie, signifying her contribution towards the rehabilitation of victims.

As expected, the antic triggered instant rage on social media with people from all over the country terming it as 'insensitive'. The CM and her party were also accused of being 'opportunists'.
