Dhanush, Samantha and Amy Jackson starrer "Thanga Magan" (Thangamagan) has opened to fairly positive reviews from the audience.
After "Velailla Pattadhari", Dhanush, Velraj, Anirudh have joined hands for the similar kind of film, which was earlier believed to be a sequel to their previous film. And for the actor, it is his fourth release in 2015 after Bollywood film "Shamitabh", "Anegan" and "Maari".
The movie, which which has ace filmmaker KS Ravikumar, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Sathish, Jayaprakash, MS Bhaskar and others are in the cast, has drawn a lot of attention through the promotions. Importantly, the trailer and the audio have impressed the audience. Hence, there is a lot expectations from the film. Moreover, the success of their previous movie "Velailla Pattadhari" have made people keep high hopes on the flick.
Story:
Without wandering around hero's introduction or exaggerated commercial elements, we are directly introduced to the story. Tamizh (Dhanush) is the son of KS Ravikumar and Raadhika Sarathkumar in "Thanga Magan". He will be a happy-go-lucky guy until he falls in love with Hema D'Souza (Amy Jackson).
Like in every love story, the couple has some issues and they break-up. Samantha comes to his life as his wife and just when all seems to be well in his life a tragedy strikes in the form of his father's suicide. The hero now wants to know the reason why his father took his life.
Reviews:
The first half of "Thanga Magan" has universally got good reviews. But the major problem lies in the second half. However, the audience has declared that it is easily a passable entertainer.
