Superstar Rajinikanth has shot before the renonwed Muruga temple in Malaysia for his upcoming movie Kabali, directed by Pa Ranjith of Madras and Attakathi fame.
"Rajini offered prayers at the temple and also shot for an important scene," sources said and added that some other important scenes will also be shot in Malaysia.
Earlier, accompanied by producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and others, the Superstar called on Melaka Governor Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Bin Yaakob. During the meeting, it is said Yaakob expressed happiness that Rajini is holding the shoot of Kabali in Malaysia.
The Malaysian Tourism Department had granted permission to the Kabali team to shoot in the State of Melaka. Kabali is a mob film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film stars Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi. Principal photography for the film began on Vinayaka Chathurthi day in Chennai.
