Vijay's 'Theri' teaser being planned for Pongal 2016?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's latest film Theri with director Atlee is progressing at a brisk pace. The latest buzz is that the first look teaser for the film might be released for Pongal 2016.

Pongal is an auspicious time of the year and usually big films are released during Pongal or Tamil New Year. Keeping this in mind, it looks like there might be a plan to release the teaser in January 2016.

Theri has been in the news for the last few months as there is speculation that Vijay might be playing a triple role in the film. As of now, there has been no official news on this.

The movie will wrap up shoot in January 2016 and is being planned for a Tamil New Year release i.e. April 2016.

Samantha and Amy Jackson, who were seen together in the recent film Thangamagan will be seen in this film as well. According to sources, the visuals of the songs shot so far have been impressive.
